This summer I am offering both private and semi-private (two children) programs during the months of July and August.
This is your chance to provide your child and a friend or classmate an opportunity to work on skills during the summer break and have fun at the same time.
The Program consists of 8 sessions and will focus on the following goals:
- Enhancing the sensory–motor foundation of fine motor skills.
- Promoting efficient pencil grasp, scissoring, colouring and printing skills.

Kindergarten Readiness
A unique program designed for children in their pre-kindergarten year, which focuses on the underlying sensorimotor skills of handwriting. Program focus:
- Strengthening of upper body
- Enhancing fine motor skills (drawing, colouring, scissoring)
- Improving visual motor coordination (copying of shapes and letters)
- Increasing in-hand manipulation skills (handling of small objects in the palm)
- Implementing strategies for improving pencil grasp
- Improving visual-spatial perception (through puzzle assembly and block construction)
Additionally:
Parents are provided with take home exercises to enhance program outcomes and will receive the professional consultation, the necessary knowledge and practical tools to promote the child’s academic performance.

Grade One Readiness
A unique program designed for children who are currently attending kindergarten and struggling with printing and fine motor tasks (e.g., drawing, colouring, cutting with scissors). Program focus:
- Learning printing skills through a developmental multisensory program
- Enhancing fine motor skills
- Promoting in-hand manipulation skills
- Implementing strategies for improving pencil grasp
- Strengthening of upper body
Additionally:
Parents are provided with take home exercises to enhance program outcomes and will receive the professional consultation, the necessary knowledge and practical tools to promote the child’s academic performance.

“Writing Right” Cursive Writing Skills
A program designed for children who are already writing in cursive and would like to improve their handwriting legibility and speed Program focus:
- Promoting in-hand manipulation skills
- Letter formation
- Sizing and alignment of letters
- Spacing between letters and words
Additionally:
Parents are provided with take home exercises to enhance program outcomes and will receive the professional consultation, the necessary knowledge and practical tools to promote the child’s academic performance.

Delivery format:
- Private or
- Semi-private (2 participants)
Frequency:
The sessions are 45 minutes long and are delivered in the morning or afternoon depending on availability in one of the following options:
- Weekly - during school season (12 sessions).
- Twice a week - during the summer vacation (8 sessions).
